At TPS, our dedication extends beyond merely protecting your goods; we prioritize doing so in the most environmentally responsible manner possible.
As part of our ongoing sustainability efforts, we place significant emphasis on waste minimization and recycling throughout our production process. We consider ourselves stewards of plastic resources, a commitment underscored by certifications for traceability and assessment of the conformity and content of recycled products, fully compliant with
This certification guarantees the declared percentages of recycled material in our products and ensures the traceability of materials used, making our Stretch Hood and Shrink Film suitable for export to countries mandating this certification by accredited third-party bodies.

For us, this certification signifies more than a mere mark on paper;
it serves as tangible proof of our steadfast commitment to responsible waste management and plastic resource stewardship.
We are pleased to announce the renewal and increase of our ESG rating, a recognition that demonstrates our commitment to environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and ethical, transparent governance. This achievement reflects our dedication to reducing the environmental impact of our packaging while ensuring responsible business practices and making a positive contribution to the community.
Each of our products is designed not only to meet high-quality standards but also to contribute to a greener future for everyone.

PCR: Post-Consumer Recycled
From post-consumer plastic to new solutions: the PCR material revolution
Every bottle, wrapper, or container can become a valuable resource. By using PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) materials, Termoplastica Sghedoni helps transforming domestic and urban waste into new high-quality products, making a real contribution to reducing environmental impact.
We use only EN 15344 certified suppliers for our PCR material: their process begins with separate collection, followed by strict sorting and cleaning of materials, and ends with the production of recycled pellets, ready to be reintroduced into the production cycle. The result? A product that retains most of the technical characteristics of traditional plastic, but with a significantly lower environmental footprint.
Our products are certified EN 15343, a guarantee of traceability and transparency in the use of recycled materials.
PIR: Post-Industrial Recycled
Reduce, recover, recreate: the efficiency of PIR materials in industrial plastics
Industrial waste is not a problem—it’s a resource to be enhanced. PIR (Post-Industrial Recycled) materials come from production residues, offcuts, and scrap
generated directly in our processes or by qualified suppliers. These materials, still pure and uncontaminated, are selected, ground, and reintroduced into production cycles, significantly reducing waste.
By using PIR materials, Termoplastica Sghedoni ensures lowers virgin raw material consumption, and reduces CO₂ emissions.
Thanks to their high uniformity and low degradation, PIR materials offer excellent performance and are perfectly suited to processes such as extrusion and molding.
Photovoltaic Expansion
Termoplastica Sghedoni S.p.A., with the support of the Emilia-Romagna Regional Program under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), has installed a 70 kWp photovoltaic system. The system features high-efficiency solar panels and string inverters for optimal energy conversion.
This new installation expands the company’s existing solar infrastructure, bringing the total capacity to 273 kWp, and will contribute to covering a portion of its annual energy requirements.
